Diwali, the Festival of Light, is celebrated in October and November by Hindu, Jain and Sikh families across the world. With an emphasis on sharing and family tradition, observers light small lamps to remind themselves to live moral lives. Bring your family to the Museum to learn about the lives of Hindu deities—from Shiva and his family to Krishna—and create your own candleholder to celebrate the festival of light.
Meets in Entrance Gallery | Free with admission. This activity is designed for families with children ages 4-10. | No reservations needed
