From the early Italian paintings to the works of the Counter-Reformation, images often contained untold stories. Modern works by Manet, Van Gogh and Rivera also came with an agenda. Discuss how images have been used to support religion or social change by looking at master works in the Norton Simon’s collections.
Meets in Entrance Gallery | The program is free with admission and limited to 20 participants. | Please sign up at the Information Desk no later than 15 minutes prior to each session.
