He lent his name to Scheyer's 1931 Blue Four exhibitions in San Francisco and Mexico City, and wrote a short text for the catalogue. Scheyer, in turn, enhanced her collection of modern art by adding this painting at the time of the Mexico City exhibition in November 1931. View Provenance |
