He shunned the use of conventional art materials in favor of discarded objects. The artist is noted for his dark creations, such as "HOMAGE TO MINNIE MOUSE." Here he explores the underside of culture, presenting cues that connect the viewer to the horror and social illnesses of our time. Atomic bombs, war, sexual pathology, and murder are often present in his work. View Provenance |
