Zoo and Ooo are not liquid words, but words formed by folded or curled papers rendered in trompe-l’oeil. The printer Jean Milant established his own shop, Cirrus Editions and Cirrus Gallery, in Hollywood; Ruscha made 20 editions at Cirrus between 1970 and 1974, many of which were a combination of lithography and screen printing. |
