Throughout history artists have used the still life as a vehicle to experiment with formal invention, style and technique. The limitless variety of objects and their interrelationships have allowed artists to express complex themes. Join artist Stas Orlovski and explore formal properties such as composition, value, and texture. Participants analyze works from "Significant Objects: The Spell of Still Life," then develop an original composition by employing various drawing concepts and techniques.
