Family Festival: The Art of Dance! Baile Folklórico of Mexico

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an afternoon filled with music and dance. Join Brenda Chavelas and her ensemble of student performers from the Colburn School’s Trudl Zipper Dance Institute as they perform Mexican folkloric dance. Learn about the rich history of this traditional style of dance through an interactive game of rhythm and movement and then visit Mexican artist Diego Rivera’s The Flower Vendor (Girl with Lilies), 1941, in the galleries.

Free with admission. Recommended for children of all ages.
