Postwar Southern California was the site of a renaissance of ideas and artistic techniques. Los Angeles developed as an art capital, in part, because local and national artists came to work with the re-envisioned techniques of printmaking. Join artist and educator Corrie Siegel as she recreates the spirit of the renowned Tamarind Lithography Workshop at the Norton Simon Museum. During this two-day workshop, teens learn basic printmaking techniques and create a portfolio of original prints.
The course is free, and space is limited to 18 participants. All materials are provided. Online registration is required.
