Vincent van Gogh used expressive colors and dramatic brushstrokes to capture the world around him. In 10 short years he created over 800 paintings that continue to captivate viewers. To celebrate the installation of Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait, on loan from the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., students use colorful felt and yarn to create textured portraits.
