Photographer Judy Dater—one of the most accomplished female artists working today— contributed to photography’s breakout moment in the 1960s; she speaks about her work in Face it: The Photographic Portrait and her approach to this genre. Dater also talks about the photographs of other important artists in the exhibition and provides insight into their work, both technically and aesthetically.
