Celebrate the beauty of nature with artist Jamie Sweetman as she leads a series of drawing classes in the galleries and garden. Students practice essential drawing techniques aimed at better understanding natural forms.
Like Monet’s Giverny, the Norton Simon’s garden is home to a wide variety of plant life. In this third session, participants devote the evening to drawing en plein air in the Museum’s garden, studying the formal structures of plants and flowers to create works inspired by the splendors of nature.
Meets in Entrance Gallery | All levels of experience are welcome. Each class is $20 ($16 for members), and space is limited to 18 participants.
