Join artist and educator Roderick Smith as he explores the expressive power of sculpture in this two-day workshop. Participants are introduced to a selection of the Museum’s 20th-century sculptures and discover how artists use three-dimensional forms to convey emotional and aesthetic values. Following the discussion, Smith leads a workshop in which participants are encouraged to use symbols and abstract elements to create their own works of art in clay. For students ages 13–17.
