Celebrate Bird Day by identifying various kinds of birds in the Museum’s collections. If you look closely at Roelandt Savery’s Landscape with Ruins and Animals, how many birds can you find? How about in Frans Snyders’s Still Life with Fruit and Vegetables? There is also Garuda, a part-bird, part-human Hindu deity. Can you find him in the Asian art galleries? Admire these birds and make a mixed-media nest for a feathered friend.
