Drawing the Norton Simon Collections: Drawing to Explore Emotional Response
- 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Richard E. Scott
Artist and author Richard E. Scott conducts a six-session course, drawing from a variety of masterworks throughout the Museum. Students learn drawing techniques to improve visual perception, to find their own artistic voices and to enrich their museum-going experience.
In the final session, students learn a thinking process for identifying elements that have personal meaning. Students apply this process to draw a variety of artworks in the Museum’s collections.
