Fall Family Festival

Join us for a journey around the world and through time with pop-up art-making workshops and more at this year’s time-travel-themed Family Festival.

Activities include:

Time Traveler Workshop with 826 LA
Create a puppet of yourself and enter a time machine to travel through different time periods with Ashlyn Anstee and Kim Adelman from 826LA.

Storytime in the Galleries
Listen to a story in the galleries and then create a drawing inspired by the stories and art of 20th-century Europe.

Interactive Activity and Art-making Stations
Create your own time travel luggage and journal, design your own time machine, make 17th-century-inspired hats, design a guardian animal in Southeast Asia, write postcards from 18th-century Italy, and do some impressionist drawing in 19th-century France.

Photo Ops
Take photos with historical backdrops.

Live Music
Travel to India through music with musician Dayita Datta.

Admission: Free admission for children. Adults pay general admission.
