Not on View

Jawlensky wrote to Scheyer of his work, "I have just begun a new series of Variations and thank God the beginning was good. I am working hard and go to bed very very late. I am very nervous but not tired. My work progresses slowly, inspiration comes, but that isn't everything only intensive work can bring life into my works."
