Seasonal Art-Making: Autumnal Explorations
DATE:
TIME:
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
SPEAKER:
Michelle Ohm

Join teaching artist Michelle Ohm for a vibrant workshop inspired by the rich fall colors, textures and patterns found in Georges Lacombe’s Autumn: The Chestnut Gatherers (1894). Participants learn how artists use warm, earthy palettes and layered techniques to evoke seasonal moods and natural beauty. After getting a close look at Lacombe’s artwork, experiment with mixed media, including natural elements like fall foliage, to make your own harvest creations.
