- DATE:

Join teaching artist Melissa Manfull and learn to capture the feeling and energy of the different places represented in the Museum’s collection. Through observational drawing, students explore how to delineate the depth, mood and temperature of a certain time and place. Each week, the class studies drawing techniques and compositional choices that capture the characteristics of a specific period or movement. The class culminates in a lesson on bookbinding, where students have the opportunity to assemble their sketchbook pages into a booklet.
