At first, Barun has no interest in his sister’s dance lessons. But with a little help from his grandfather, he might just find the courage to join in. Read Dancing in Thatha’s Footsteps by author Srividhya Venkat and illustrator Kavita Ramchandran and learn more about bharatanatyam, an ancient dance from India, while viewing a sculpture of the Hindu god Krishna. Then, create a lotus flower to take home.
