Autumn Border

A stone waterfall adds movement and ambience to this corner of the garden, which can be found across the path from the fig tree. Heavenly bamboo, Chinese hibiscus, birds of paradise, canna and Peruvian lilies are some of the shrubs and perennials planted here. The Chinese flame tree and elm provide shade, and Moore’s Standing Figure: Knife Edge is strikingly set against the bright green euphorbia and pale green coral aloe. Right before the Moore piece are two paths to choose. To the left is the Coral Tree path, which skirts around the pond, and to the right is the “Blue” Eucalyptus Walk, which goes to the western edge of the garden.
