Inspired by the exhibition Dear Little Friend: Impressions of Galka Scheyer, this workshop led by children’s book illustrator and animator Ashlyn Anstee explores the portraits made for Scheyer by her artist friends and colleagues. Students create their own portraits and explore the art of letter writing with collage and junk-journal-inspired techniques. Create something to share with a loved one or to keep.
