Artist and educator May Jong conducts a six-session course focusing on ways of seeing and drawing a variety of artworks in the Museum’s collections. Students learn various drawing techniques by studying storytelling, the human figure and landscapes.

Looking at portraits by French artists of the 18th and 19th century, students explore graphite and color pencil techniques to draw self-portraits. Please bring a photograph of yourself (or someone else) at work or working on something. Resources will also be available in class.

Fee:
All levels of experience are welcome. Each class is $25 ($20 for members), and space is limited to 20 participants. All materials and admission to the galleries on the day of class are included.
