Drawing at the Norton Simon: Plein Air Drawing

Join artist and author Richard E. Scott in exploring the Norton Simon’s collections and Sculpture Garden. Working in pencil, students learn how to look with an artist’s eye, gain confidence in a variety of mark-making techniques and enrich their museum-going experience.
In the final session, students learn how to draw outdoor subjects and overcome challenges such as continually changing light. They apply this lesson to draw from the Sculpture Garden.

- All levels of experience are welcome. Each class is $25 ($20 for members), and space is limited to 20 participants. All materials and admission to the galleries on the day of class are included.
