Drawing Breakthroughs at the Norton Simon: Craft

Join artist and author Richard E. Scott in an exploration of the collections in this six-part drawing series. Each session focuses on common drawing problems and provides specific solutions to overcome these challenges. Working in pencil, students learn how to improve their skill, gain confidence and enrich their museum-going experience.
In the fourth session, students learn to add nuance to their drawings to make artworks that express form and light. Students apply the lesson by drawing works in the 19th-century collection.

- All levels of experience are welcome. Each class is $25 ($20 for members), and space is limited to 20 participants. All materials and admission to the galleries on the day of class are included.
