Hector the dog loves to collect acorns of all shapes and sizes, but when the teacher finds Hector’s desk filled with acorns, his classmates make fun of him. Eventually, his classmates learn that all collections are special; some are even meant for sharing, like the collections in an art museum. What do you like to collect? Make a drawing in response to the story in front of one of Norton Simon’s favorite artworks.
