Summer Internship, Education

Open To:  Students interested in careers in museum education who are college seniors or recent graduates

Term: Ten (10) consecutive weeks beginning in June and ending in September

Stipend: $3,400 for the 10 week period (28 hours a week)

Deadline: All applications must be received by February 15 and all letters of response will be mailed by April 15.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assist with educational programming including Thursday Summer Fun and Family Programming; assist in development of art activities for existing and future education programs; research curriculum related projects; develop project related to applicant’s area of expertise; assist in day-to-day departmental operations; conduct collections-based research as related to departmental needs.
