This is one view of a continuous four-part folding lithograph that is designed to stand, similar to a Japanese folding screen. The delicacy of the paper, combined with the light yellow ink, imbues this piece with an elegant, ethereal quality. An abstracted figure appears in the lower right corner. As the screen is unfolded, the body disengages and shifts to the top, only to return once more to the bottom of the composition. Each section of the figure floats atop a subtle grid of gently curved or irregular lines.
