Degas and the Dance

Just as artists use mark-making to create their compositions, dancers use steps to create their dances. Look at paintings and sculptures by Edgar Degas that capture the movement of dance. Strike a pose with your family, trace each other’s hands and feet and create a decorative mobile to watch your dance move in various ways.
