Join artist Melissa Manfull for a six-session drawing class exploring color and form. Use paintings and sculptures in the Museum’s collections as source material to create your own artworks.
Discuss Degas’s and Toulouse-Lautrec’s pastel drawings of women, with an emphasis on texture and light. Using pastel pencils on a colored ground, students create drawings from Impressionist artworks using a variety of surface details.
