Creative Conversations: Botanical Investigations

Creative Conversations: Botanical Investigations
DATE:
TIME:
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Speakers:
Sean Lahmeyer and Genevieve Hulley

Education and Public Programs Manager Genevieve Hulley leads a discussion with Sean Lahmeyer, Plant Collections and Conservation Manager at The Huntington, exploring the hidden histories of fruits and vegetables represented in works of art. The program features several of the paintings on view in the exhibition All Consuming: Art and the Essence of Food, as well as works in the permanent collection galleries. Participants will then continue the conversation in the café.

Please note advance registration is full. Registrants must arrive by 12:50 p.m. to guarantee your pre-registered spot. If you do not arrive by 12:50 p.m. your spot may be forfeited and given to another guest.

If space allows, a limited number of day-of spots will be given away at 12:55 p.m.

Special notice: Please note that the Museum’s passenger elevator is being renovated and is currently out of use. We anticipate this work will be completed in June. Visitors may access the lower-level galleries using the interior stairwell or from the Museum’s lower parking lot. Our security department is always available to offer assistance. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Sorry, this program is full.
