DATE:
TIME:
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Teacher:
Maria Ahverdyan

Try your hand at ceramics with artist and educator Maria Ahverdyan. Look closely at the 15th-century artwork featured in the exhibition Saint Sebastian: Anatomy of a Sculpture and compare it to non-figurative sculptures in the Museum’s 20th-century collection. Then, use fast drying clay to experiment with shape and form and construct a creation of your own.
