Hester Bateman Silver
Forty-three silver objects from Hester Bateman’s collection were featured in this 1961 exhibition. The objects, which originated from the 18th century, included teaspoons, tablespoons, a child’s mug and a tea caddy. This collection was supplemented by additional objects lent by other private collectors in Pasadena, including 30 pieces by Mr. and Mrs. Burnie M. Craig, and 13 by Ms. Abigail Schlegell.
