This spring and summer, the Norton Simon Museum presents a musical audio tour narrated by Maestro James Conlon and produced in collaboration with the Los Angeles Opera that explores the legacy of French composer Claude Debussy (1862–1918) and his relationship to the visual artists of his time.
All Consuming: Art and the Essence of Food

All Consuming explores how artists responded to and shaped food cultures in Europe from 1500 to 1900. The objects on view, some 60 paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures from the Norton Simon’s collections, examine a range of relationships with eating and drinking, both positive and negative.
